Antler Ridge Wildlife Sanctuary was the place to be on October 10,2010. The sanctuary Hosted Pink Hay Bales of Hope a fund raiser to support Breast Cancer Awareness, and honor the many cancer survivor volunteers who dedicate much of their time caring for the animals at the sanctuary. It was a day of celebration of life, hope and courage. Pink warriors for the cause! Hay Bales were arranged into a large pink ribbon symbol and each hay bale was dedicated to a person, hope or dream. The event raised over $6,000 of which half was presented to Horizon of Hope a Longaberger event for the American Cancer Society in the hope to find a cure for Breast Cancer. The day was filled with tarot card readings, yoga for the soul and a walk around the farm featuring the edible forest tour. The sanctuary also created its own "Pink glove video" By Ray Mueller productions. Mark your calendar for next year it will be even pinker!
